Debo Olufeko attended the University of Jos where he obtained an LL.B (Hons). He was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1988. He further obtained an LL.M in Commercial Law at the University of Southampton UK. He was thereafter admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1998. He is a trained foreign investor – state arbitrator and mediator by the Dickson Pool School of Law, Kings College London, International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution UK, (CEDR)
He is on the arbitrator and mediator panel member of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, South China, the Federal Court of Appeal Mediation Centre Nigeria, the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Lagos State Multi-Door Courthouse, Lagos Court of Arbitration, Lagos Chamber of Commerce International Arbitration Centre. Mr Olufeko is an accredited Mediation Advocate & Mediation Advocate Trainer by the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA UK). He is also a faculty member of the Lagos Multidoor Courthouse.
His professional Recognition includes Fellow Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK, Fellow International Bar Association, Fellow Institute of Construction Industry Arbitrators, Nigeria.

Mr Olufeko is a member of the Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria, Nigeria Shipping Lawyers Association, listed with ICC UK as a Mediator and Arbitrator and an accredited mediator of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution UK (CEDR).
Mr Olufeko experience span from advising and representing multinational and government in commercial and property, maritime and foreign investor –state mediation and arbitration areas of practice. Mr Olufeko has sat as a sole arbitrator and also chaired panel of arbitrations where he wrote sanitized awards on property, maritime, commercial, construction, franchise and other contractual conflicts.
He is a seasoned mediator and had sat on over 100 mediation matters. He is also a mediation advocate. He teaches mediation skills the Lagos Multidoor Courthouse and SCMA UK. Mr Olufeko is a member of the Nigeria Association of Law Teachers; now a visiting lecturer at the Crescent University Abeokuta where he teaches Marine Insurance , Carriage of Goods by Sea and Intellectual Property Law.
