Prof. Andrew Goodman has been an international commercial mediator for 30 years and a practising barrister for 45 years based in London. He holds fellowships of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Civil Mediation Council, the Institute of Continuing Professional Development, and the World Mediation Organization. He is a Senior International Mediation Expert of the International Dispute Resolution and Risk Management Institute, and of the Joint Mainland- Hong Kong Mediation Center.
Andrew is a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and an accredited International Mediation Institute mediation advocate. He is a director of the UK College of Mediators, the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates and a panel member of the England and Wales Bar ADR Panel.
He has undertaken training and consultancy in mediation for governments and Bars in the UK, Nigeria, Singapore, India, China and many other countries as well as worked extensively across the EU and GCC. He is Professor of Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution Studies at Rushmore University and has undertaken visiting lectureships at a number of academic institutions around the world.
Andrew is a Master of the Bench of the Inner Temple and the author of nearly 50 books, including many on the subject of mediation advocacy, a field in which he is widely acknowledged as a thought leader.
